Implementasi Program Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Infeksi (PPI) di Rumah Sakit

Abstract
Infeksi terkait pelayanan kesehatan (Healthcare-Associated Infections/HAIs) masih menjadi tantangan utama dalam peningkatan mutu dan keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit. Berdasarkan analisis situasi di rumah sakit mitra, ditemukan bahwa implementasi program Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Infeksi (PPI) belum optimal, khususnya dalam kepatuhan hand hygiene, penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD), serta sistem surveilans HAIs yang belum berjalan secara sistematis. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran tenaga kesehatan serta seluruh karyawan rumah sakit melalui pendekatan knowledge transfer terkait implementasi PPI. Metode yang digunakan berupa kegiatan knowledge transfer selama satu hari dengan pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif, melibatkan 30 peserta. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari 145,00 menjadi 149,33 dengan perbedaan signifikan secara statistik (p < 0,05). Namun demikian, tingginya nilai awal peserta menunjukkan adanya ceiling effect, sehingga peningkatan secara praktis relatif terbatas. Selain itu, teridentifikasi potensi knowledge transfer lanjutan kepada karyawan lain serta adanya komitmen awal dalam penguatan implementasi PPI. Kegiatan ini memberikan indikasi awal terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan penguatan kesadaran, namun memerlukan evaluasi lanjutan untuk menilai dampak jangka panjang terhadap perubahan perilaku dan implementasi PPI.
