Bridging The Gap: Peran Platform P2P Dalam Mengatasi Penjatahan Kredit bagi UMKM

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh hasil pengujian secara empiris mengenai tantangan yang dihadapi UMKM dalam memperoleh akses pendanaan, terdapat fenomena penjatahan kredit UMKM, serta potensi platform peer-to-peer (P2P) sebagai alternatif pembiayaan bagi UMKM untuk menghadapi penjatahan kredit.  Melalui pendekatan Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM), penelitian ini secara empiris mengkaji efek mediasi kredit non-UMKM perbankan dan pinjaman P2P terhadap pengaruh dana pihak ketiga perbankan terhadap kredit UMKM perbankan. Temuan utama dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa perbankan berperan penting dalam menyalurkan dana pihak ketiga pada kredit UMKM perbankan, tetapi terdapat penjatahan kredit bagi UMKM yang terbukti dari semakin perbankan menyalurkan kredit pada non-UMKM, maka semakin rendah penyaluran kredit pada UMKM, dan sebaliknya.  Namun, platform pinjaman P2P muncul sebagai alternatif yang terbukti secara empiris sebagai mediasi yang memfasilitasi aliran dana dari sumber pihak ketiga terhadap kredit UMKM, sehingga mengurangi dampak penjatahan kredit perbankan. Studi ini memberikan wawasan baru mengenai efek mediasi kredit non-UMKM dan pinjaman P2P dalam alokasi dana perbankan bagi debitur UMKM, serta menawarkan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang penjatahan kredit perbankan yang memengaruhi pembiayaan UMKM. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan implikasi yang berharga bagi pembuat kebijakan, lembaga keuangan, dan UMKM yang ingin menavigasi lanskap pembiayaan UMKM di Indonesia.
