Pengaruh Remitansi Terhadap Financial Development: Studi Kasus Negara Berkembang

Abstract
Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh remitansi terhadap financial development di 45 negara berkembang selama periode 2012–2021. Remitansi digunakan sebagai variabel utama, sedangkan natural resources, GDP per kapita, trade openness, inflasi dan rule of law digunakan sebagai variabel pengendali. Metode yang diterapkan adalah Generalized Method Of Moments (GMM) guna meminimalkan persoalan endogenitas pada model data panel dinamis. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa remitansi, GDP per capita, trade openness, rule of law memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap financial development, sedangkan natural resources dan inflasi justru memberikan efek negatif yang signifikan terhadap financial development. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya remitansi dalam mendorong financial development di negara-negara berkembang.
