Pengaruh Kinerja Keuangan Daerah Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi

Abstract
Local governments have gained broader authority to manage governance and finances based on each region's specific potential and needs. This authority serves as a foundation for formulating more effective fiscal policies, allowing resource allocation to be directed toward priority programs that drive economic development. Optimal financial management plays a crucial role in enhancing local financial management capacity while simultaneously fostering development through improved public welfare. However, economic activity in Central Java has shown varied trends in recent years. This phenomenon indicates that the quality of local financial management is vital for maintaining economic stability, particularly when facing economic pressures or crises. Consequently, an empirical study is required to analyze the impact of local financial performance on economic growth.
This study aims to analyze the impact of local financial performance on economic growth across all regencies and cities in Central Java Province from 2015 to 2024. The study utilizes panel data, employing a total sampling technique to include the entire population, and analyzes the data using the multiple linear regression method. The results demonstrate that the Efficiency Ratio and Effectiveness Ratio have a positive impact on economic growth, whereas the Regional Financial Independence Ratio has a negative impact on economic growth across the regencies and cities of Central Java Province during the study period.
