Implementasi Gamifikasi Kahoot dalam Pembelajaran Teks Eksposisi Berbasis Kearifan Lokal untuk Meningkatkan Engagement Siswa SMK

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan gamifikasi melalui aplikasi Kahoot dalam pembelajaran teks eksposisi berbasis kearifan lokal Madura di tingkat SMK. Studi ini berangkat dari keprihatinan terhadap rendahnya keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, khususnya pada materi teks eksposisi yang cenderung bersifat konseptual dan kurang kontekstual. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif yang diperkuat data kuantitatif, penelitian dilaksanakan pada sepuluh siswa kelas XI di SMK 3 Pamekasan, Madura. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuis interaktif Kahoot yang terdiri dari sepuluh soal bermuatan kearifan lokal, serta angket kepuasan siswa pascapembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Kahoot mampu mendorong engagement siswa secara signifikan pada tiga dimensi: behavioral engagement (100% siswa berpartisipasi aktif), emotional engagement (88,9% menyatakan pembelajaran tidak membosankan), dan cognitive engagement yang tercermin dari variasi skor dengan rata-rata kebenaran jawaban 55%. Data angket memperlihatkan bahwa 88,9% siswa sangat setuju bahwa materi mudah dipahami, dan 77,8% sangat puas secara keseluruhan. Soal-soal bermuatan kearifan lokal, seperti budaya kerapan sapi dan nilai "bappa, babbu, guru, rato", terbukti mampu meningkatkan relevansi kontekstual materi dan memperkuat identitas budaya siswa. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kombinasi gamifikasi digital dan konten berbasis budaya lokal merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang interaktif, menyenangkan, dan bermakna di lingkungan SMK.
