Manuscript Type

Jurnal J-CEKI : Jurnal Cendekia Ilmiah welcomes various forms of scholarly contributions focusing on education, teaching methodologies, pedagogical innovations, and educational development. To maintain academic rigor and structure, manuscripts submitted to the journal generally fall into the following categories:

1. Research Articles (Original Research Papers)

This is the primary manuscript type published by the journal. It reports original, empirical research findings within the field of education (e.g., classroom action research, quantitative/qualitative studies, experimental research on learning models, development research/R&D, and curriculum implementation).

  • Length: 5 to 20 pages (following the official journal template).

  • Structure: Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

  • Citation Style: APA 6th Edition (mandatory use of reference managers such as Mendeley).

2. Review Articles (Literature Review)

Critical syntheses of existing literature and research trends related to contemporary educational issues, pedagogical theories, or technological integrations in learning. Review articles must offer a novel perspective or comprehensive evaluation of current states of the art rather than a simple summary of past works.

  • Length: 5 to 20 pages.

  • Structure: Structured similarly to research articles, adapted to thematic or systematic literature review standards.

3. Classroom Action Research (CAR) & Best Practices

Specialized reports written by educators, teachers, and lecturers detailing practical interventions, instructional media developments (such as digital modules, learning games, or context-based tools), and classroom-based problem-solving techniques aimed at improving student learning outcomes.

  • Length: 5 to 20 pages.

  • Structure: Introduction, Methodology/Action Procedures, Results, Discussion, and Practical Implications.

General Formatting & Submission Guidelines for All Types:

  • Language: Manuscripts can be written in Indonesian or English (with proper academic phrasing and structured abstracts).

  • Length Constraint: All manuscript types must adhere strictly to the length limit of 5 to 20 pages, single-spaced, following the official Jurnal Jendela Pendidikan template.

  • Plagiarism Policy: All submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous initial screening, and similarity scores must strictly comply with the journal's threshold limits.

  • Submission Portal: Authors must submit their manuscripts through the official Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform of Jurnal J-CEKI.
