Perlindungan Konsumen dalam Era Digital: Tantangan dan Peluang bagi Pelaku Usaha dan Pemerintah

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah pola konsumsi masyarakat dan memperluas ruang interaksi antara konsumen dan pelaku usaha. Namun, kemajuan ini juga menimbulkan berbagai persoalan baru, seperti maraknya penipuan daring, penyalahgunaan data pribadi, serta rendahnya literasi digital konsumen. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika perlindungan konsumen di era digital dengan menyoroti peran pemerintah dalam membangun regulasi yang adaptif serta tanggung jawab pelaku usaha terhadap hak-hak konsumen. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan telaah literatur dan kebijakan terkini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan perlindungan konsumen digital sangat bergantung pada kolaborasi antara pemerintah, sektor swasta, dan masyarakat. Dengan memperkuat edukasi konsumen dan memperjelas mekanisme penegakan hukum, ekosistem digital dapat berkembang secara sehat, adil, dan berkelanjutan
